First Trip to the Dentist
I know, I know the kid is six (well tomorrow) and he hasn't been to the dentist. Well he went today and he was awesome. He did what they said and the doctor was very impressed by him, but then again who wouldn't be? They were very impressed too because he is six and this was his first appointment and he has NO CAVITIES! As a mom I am very proud of this. He got to have his picture taken with the dentist and put up on the wall. He also got to join the "no cavities kids club" he is very proud of himself. He has a ton of big teeth coming in a lot of his bottom teeth are loose and will be falling out soon. He has been anxiously waiting to lose teeth so he is really excited, me on the other hand am not. He is growing up and it makes me so sad. She was saying I better start taking lots of pictures now of his little face because it's going to change so much, this made me tear up. I don't want him to grow up but I am excited for him at the same time. He has a lot of teeth coming in and not a ton of room in his little mouth, so he will be needing braces in the future but we will worry about that then. He is very happy with his new tooth brush and toothpaste. Oh yeah one more thing, she was counting his teeth and told him he has 11 on top and 10 on the bottom then asked him so how many teeth do you have? Without hesitation he says 21, I think all of us looked a little stunned, really he didn't even stop to think about it then he says "well yeah because 10 plus 10 is 20 so if you add one more then it is 21" and there you go!
Pre-Birthday Dinner

My sweet Tallin is turning 6 on Wednesday. We decided to take him to dinner tonight to celebrate with just family since on his birthday he is having a party with friends and everyone else. When we asked him where he wanted to go he said "Benihanas" of course, the boys love to watch them cook in front of us. So we went and had a wonderful dinner. They sang Happy Birthday to Tal and took a cute picture. He is so so so excited for his birthday and so am I, we have a lots planned and I think it's going to be LOTS of fun. I can't believe he is going to be 6 he is getting so big.

My Sweet Husband

During the Friday morning rush to get Tallin to school I got a text message from Jason, basically it said "get a three day bag packed for you and the boys and someone will be there to pick you up at 11:45" Right when I got the text Jason called so I had many questions. I soon found out that I was going on an airplane and the boys were going to stay with Aunt Heidi and Uncle Stretch and also with Aunt Heather and Uncle Sam. I went ahead and sent Tallin to school and just picked him up early. With not much warning about my new little trip the morning turned a little hectic, but with my little helper we got everything done. Heidi showed 11:45 right on the dot and we went and picked up Tallin, then headed to the airport. I boarded the plane and took off to Austin. What an amazing surprise.
Once I got there I found out he had a whole weekend planned which included getting my hair and nails done and tickets to WICKED. I've been wanting to see Wicked forever so I was so excited to go. Jason had to work Saturday so I relaxed at the hotel for bit then went to the spa and cut ALL my hair off. I don't know what I was thinking but I suppose it will grow back. I don't hate but I don't love it either. Then we went to see Wicked which was AMAZING I loved it and can't wait for the chance to go see it again. O yea did I mention that we had FRONT ROW CENTER seats wow talk about up close and personal it was so cool.
We also had the chance to see a couple of movies. We saw BandSlam that I loved and The Time Travelers Wife which was good but really depressing. We hung out and ate some good food. It was an awesome weekend. We had our 8 year anniversary a couple of weeks ago while the boys and I were there in Austin, so we kind of celebrated by going to SeaWorld but this was much better. I love Jason more then anything and it was so nice to get away for the weekend. Thank you everyone who helped, watched the boys ect.. We really appreciate it! Thank you babe I had a wonderful weekend with you!!
ps.. As of now we are moving to Miami Florida we are super excited and plan on being there hopefully middle of September... but who knows, thing can change.

"Don't Worry About It, I'll Be Fine"
Was what Tallin said to me when I was trying to talk him into letting me take him in to school, on his first day instead of just dropping him off. He was so ready and excited and confident to go to school. When we flew in Tuesday we went to the school to meet his teacher and take a tour so he knew where he was going and he wanted to go alone. I know it wasn't technically his first day of kindergarten since he went last year but still it's a new school, but he insisted that he didn't want me to walk him in so I let him be a big boy and go by himself. I think I was the only mom not going in with their child I felt horrible. He had a GREAT first and second day of school he loves his teacher and has made a friend Alex who he says is going to be his best friend, and a couple of girls Tallin always seems to make friends with the little girls. I don't know if it's because he has done this before or he is more grown up or the school is better, but he is excited and I am excited for him. Colt has been doing pretty good without him too. Before Tallin started school every time I would mention school or we would go to the school Colt would get so upset, because he didn't want Tallin to go but I think he is starting to see that its kind of fun hanging out with mom all alone. So far so good, hopefully we can make it through this year without any broken bones!
Plane, Bats, Riverwalk, and SEAWORLD
We went to Austin last week to spend some time with Jason and it was so FUN!! Unfortunately my camera is not great so I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked and the ones I got are not great but I will post what I have. First things first the PLANE RIDE!! The boys were so excited especially Tallin. Colt fell asleep about half way through but Tallin was just content to look out the window. They were both very good boys which was nice. So here are a few pics of the plane ride.

It was so fun to see where Jason has been working for the past 2 months and meet his staff. Everyone was so nice and friendly and had nothing but good stuff to say about Jason, not that I expected anything different. It was also nice to see where he has been sleeping and to see what he gets to see everyday. Austin is beautiful and we had a lot of fun.
We went out on the lake Saturday night with one of the guys Jason works with and it was a blast. The boys loved it! There were so many beautiful homes on the lake I couldn't believe some of the homes. How fun would that be to live right on the lake?
We also went and saw the BATS they were sooooooooooooooooo cool, seriously it was awesome. There is this bridge in down town Austin, you stand on it and when the sun goes down 1.5 MILLION bats fly out. There is a ton they start coming out and it doesn't ever end, they blanket the sky it really is so neat. If any of you ever have the chance, go check it out. I tried to get pics of the bats flying out but my camera would let me get a good one plus it was raining.

Then we went to San Antonio, what a cool place. I loved it! We got to see some friends we haven't seen in a while, which was fun. Then we went down to the River Walk it was so cool. We took the boat tour, that is probably the best way to see it all. I can't imagine walking the whole thing. It actually be really nice to walk if it wasn't so hot and you didn't have the kids with you. Anyways so we took the tour then went to Rain Forest Cafe for dessert. The boys loved the Rain Forest Cafe.

Last but not least, SeaWorld need I say more? It was so fun. I love SeaWorld, I have always loved SeaWorld, I have been waiting anxiously to take my boys there and it was about time we went. We had a blast and loved seeing the shows. The boys especially loved seeing Shamu and we got SOAKED! Yes I knew when we sat in the splash zone we would get wet but holy cow we got WET and the water was COLD. They lined up 4 of the whales and they all splashed us and just kept splashing. Tallins shoes even flew to the bottom on the stairs :) It was so awesome though. Tallin now wants to be a whale trainer, how cool would that be? It was so neat to see what those people can do with those animals. I think that would be the coolest job. There was a water park there too that's why we have swimming suits on :) Colt got to go on a water slide all by himself, a pretty big one, he loved it and it scared me to death.(not the slide the fact he was going alone) We also went on this really fun log ride. The picture they took you know when you go down the big drop, of us is priceless. Colt was the bravest (is that a word?) so he is sitting up front and his little head is just popping up with a big ol smile, me and Tallin both look scared to death and Jason is looking like "what the heck is going on" it is so funny. I wish so much I had a scanner so I could post it but I am sorry I don't! I didn't get many pics because everything is so wet I didn't want to ruin my camera, anyways here are the pictures I did get.

We had a great trip and it went way to fast. We are now back and Tallin is in school. Pictures up next of Tallin on his first day of school. It deserve it's very own post :) We missed our family who went to Utah but we are happy you guys had a good time too.
